As an instructor for the after-school
program at John Muir Middle School, Philip taught 6th Grade students to make their
own games and movies using Macromedia Flash. In this class, students also learned
to use the Internet as a research tool while playing games that required them
to find answers online. Games included trivia challenges, dinosaur hunts, and

Philip worked with Ashley Grisso, an instructor in Media Education
